On 27th November, 2015 Hon. Bolaji Yusuf Ayinla representing Mushin constituency II at the Federal House of Representative of National Assembly hosted constituency stakeholders meeting at Arch-Bishop Aggey Memorial Secondary School field which stakeholders in the community expressed their expectations from the Honourable and in response to their expectations which was centered around social and economic empowerment, and the Hon. gave his word that a new effective strategy will be adopted to distribute dividend of democracy to the people because his twelve years experience as Lagos State House of Assembly member have shown that our people need real empowerment to live good life and be a productive member of the community.And the Honourable gave birth to BYA ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT SCHEME (BEES) unlike his BYA AMBASSADOR during his Lagos State House Member.

BYA ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT SHCEME is an economic support programme that gives people tools to enhance or start a business and earn a meaningful life. The Honourable added that gone are the days where politicians do give people fish to eat, now it is giving them the tools to catch the fish and contribute to the development of the community. Also, Ayinla Se’niyan as people called him due to his philanthropic attitude made it known that the pressure of meeting up with people constant demand and expectations are paramount to him and he will not stop helping people and the community to be better. Furthermore, he explained that his duty as legislator is to make law not to provide social amenities which is the duty of the executive and what he has done is to show the people that he felt their pain and wants to ameliorate it through the BEES Programme.

The BEES 2016 empowered about 235 people by giving out the following:10 Tricycles, 12 Motocycles, 25 Griding Machines, 10 Big Generators, 6 Welding Machines, 2 Block Making Machines, 5 Vulcanizing Machines, 40 Sewing Machines, 30 Small Generators & Barber Clippers, 28 Pop Corn Machines, 20 Hair Dryers, 16 Chest Freezers, 31 Coca Cola Chillers  and  Drinks.








The event was witnessed by top politicians and stakeholders within the community, Hon. Commissioner Seye Oladejo, Lagos State Ministry of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Relations came to represent Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, the Sole Administrator of Mushin L.G.A Hon. Yinka Kazeem, Hon. Olayiwola Olawole, Lagos State House of Assembly member representing Mushin constituency II, former Executive Secretary of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA,  Hon. Rasak Ajala, Oba Onitire of Itire, Party Leaders,  Baales and so on. They all praised Hon. BYA for this great empowerment that what he has done will put food on so many families table and God will continue to bless him to do more.

The beneficiaries couldn’t hold their joy and happiness as the tools were handed over to them, few that were spoken to express great appreciation that what the honourable did for them is like their prayers are answered because their lives will never be the same again and pray that Allah will give him and his family everlasting joy and never know sorrow and misfortune.
