Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Mushin Ward A (Atewolara) have declared their readiness to deliver a sweeping victory for the party in the 2027 general elections, pledging to intensify grassroots mobilisation and ensure President Bola Ahmed Tinubu secures a resounding second term.
The resolve was reached during the Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting of the ward held at Solomon's House on Anipele Street, Mushin, under the leadership of the newly inaugurated Ward Chairman, Hon. Alhaji Rasheed Oladosu.
The meeting, attended by top party leaders, focused on preparations for the 2027 polls and the implementation of directives from the Lagos State APC leadership. Members unanimously expressed their commitment to faithfully execute the party's plans aimed at strengthening its grassroots structure ahead of the elections.
Addressing the gathering, Oladosu thanked the party leaders for entrusting him with the leadership of the ward and vowed to work in accordance with the party hierarchy's guidance. He urged leaders to unite across all political groups within the party and carry every member along, stressing that collective effort remains the key to achieving victory.
Also speaking, APC Chairman in Mushin Local Government, Hon. Olusesan Ogundimu, praised the impressive turnout recorded during the ongoing Permanent Voter's Card (PVC) registration exercise. He also commended the Chairman of Mushin Local Government, Hon Olatunbosun Haruna Aruwe, for intensifying awareness campaigns that have encouraged more residents to register.
Ogundimu, however, urged the CWC members to ensure that all newly registered voters collect their PVCs once the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) begins distribution, describing the voter card as the most powerful tool for determining the outcome of elections.
Hon. Ayodele Olusegun Oyebanjo was appointed as the Secretary of the Central Working Committee due to his long time diligent to the party activities within the ward.
Other leaders at the meeting echoed the call for unity and mobilisation, insisting that every structure within the ward would be activated to secure a convincing APC victory in 2027, with President Tinubu's re-election identified as a top priority.
