An accident occurred this morning around 10 am involving a car and truck at Vono Junction infront of mobile filling station before challenge bus stop inward Mushin along Agege Motor Road.

According to eyewitnesses, the truck is making a turn at the turning junction and the car was coming from Oshodi inward Mushin, suddenly the car swerved into the median of the road which a street light concrete stop and hung car from jumping to the other side of the road which could have caused more damages.

Some people said the car was at a high speed which was why the driver could not stop on time as the truck is turning outward Mushin by the refused dumpsite by Vono junction.


Effort is on the way to remove the car while LASTMA officers are on the ground managing the traffic as no casualty is recorded.

Many complained that the turning junction has become an accident ground as cars always hit each other due to over speeding from cars inward Mushin against cars making the turning. Drivers are advised to always slow down when approaching the junction.
