As the 2023 general elections electioneering campaign kicks off, on Thursday, 29 September 2022, the Federal House of Representatives member, representing Mushin Federal Constituency 2, Hon. Bolaji Yusuf Ayinla also known as BYA has presented campaign souvenirs to the APC Mushin LGA Chapter at the patty secretariat, Palm Avenue, Mushin which was launched and unveiled by the Apex leader of APC in Mushin and Odiolowo Ojuwoye, Distinguished Senator Ganiu Olarewaju Solomon (GOS), who has assured Nigerians that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will serve the country better than any other candidates for the presidential election.

The Apex leader made this known while responding to the Muslim Muslim ticket issue, he said "am for everyone, Muslim, Christian everyone and I think the Muslim Muslim ticket issue should not be an issue to argue about, as a nation, we have so many issues bothering the country, terrorism, bandits, kidnappers, insecurity as a whole and we thank God that the military is now on top of their game, the economy too is experiencing famin which is not peculiar to Nigeria alone, it is a global problem. 

"So what we should be talking about is who will serve us better and Asiwaju can serve us better than any other party candidates, it is a known fact, talking about the presidency is about governance and Asiwaju has it, having governed Lagos state then for eight years and others came in building the State to what it is now.

"Whosoever can do it whether is a Muslim or Christian, should be supported and Asiwaju needs to be supported by everyone, is a leader Nigeria need now, a true patriotic leader, who will perform and am very sure he will perform. Nigerians need to support the candidacy of Asiwaju who will win, by Almighty Allah's grace.

He appreciated the donor of the campaign souvenirs despite that he (the donor) lost in the bid to get reelection for the third term, still support the party and candidates with the campaign materials which was alluded to, as the tradition of Mushin people to always support the party and whosoever emerged as the party flagbearers to achieve victory at the poll.

He added that the Honourable has also been supported by different people in the past when he was contesting and it is on him now to do the same which he appreciated and thanked.

The campaign souvenirs donated are face caps and T-shirts branded for Asiwaju for President, Sanwo-Olu for Lagos State Governor, Fayinka for Federal House of Representatives and Esho for Lagos State House of Assembly of Mushin Constituency ll.

Present at the event were the Chairman of All Progressives Congress, Mushin Chapter, Hon. Babatunde Shittabey, the women's leader, Mrs Mustapha, 2023 APC mushin chapter campaign committee led by Mr Adedoyin and party leaders and faithful.
