About fifteen suspects have been arrested by the police in connection to the looting of an Abuja Warehouse amidst hardship and hunger in the nation yesterday morning which many valuable items were carried away

The warehouse was erroneously reported to belong to the National Emergency Management Agency of Nigeria, NEMA which the agency had denied ownership of the warehouse.

The warehouse is a food store for the Agricultural and Rural Development Secretariat of the Federal Capital Territory Administration which confirmed the looting of its warehouse in Dei-Dei on Sunday by residents of the FCT, over the economic hardship in the country.

Items recovered from the suspect were 26 bags of Maize, 5 Motorcycles, and some vandalized aluminum roofing sheets.

The suspects arrested include two local security guards employed by the warehouse management.

The warehouse has been guided by the police as the investigation and arrest of suspects continue.
