It is wise to say that any organization that wants to outlive itself must have a succession plan. The foremost social club in Mushin, Fadaka Social Elite Club formed the Gents Section of the club that comprises vibrant youths to promote and elevate the club with youthful ideas and plans for a brighter future. 

On Sunday, 12 April 2024 the Senior section of the social club inaugurated the Gent section executive members who will pilot the affairs of the youth section for the next three years. 

The inauguration which took place at the clubhouse at Odusanmi Street by Ayantuga Street was well attended by many of its foremost founders, dignitaries and members. 

Speaking at the inauguration, Elder Otunba Rafiu Babatunde Lawal, the President of Fadaka Social Elite, narrated that the club being the oldest in Mushin deemed it right to look into the future without losing sight of the present and formed a gent section that will be the leaders of the club in the future and advice the Gents members to be of good service to the club and wish them well. 

"Fadaka Social Elite Club has been in existence for over a decade in Mushin and it is my joy to see the Gent Section of the club ready to continue with the tradition of the club which I believe they will perform and I wish them well. " The President said. 

He added that in the next five years, the club would have been greater than this, with more growth as new members come in, and by then the clubhouse would have been built. 

Also, Baale of Atewolara, Mushin, Baale Wasiu Adeshina Abdulaziz, who is also a founding member added his voice and advised the Gent Section to emulate the seniors and learn from them because the club has a standard which they have to follow and believe in the new executive members that they will surely deliver and put the club in its rightful place in the community and the world at large. 

A vibrant member of the club who anchored the inauguration described the event as a succession plan for the club, Hon Fola Onifade speaking with Mushines News, made it known that having the Gent Section of the Club is like preparing for continuity of the club which serves as a succession plan by the senior so that when the elders have gone to great beyond they will rest in peace knowing that they have capable hands who have been tested and trusted to continue with the tradition of the club and advised the Gents to maintain good name for themselves like the elders have done and work hard to earn good living to finance the social club. 

The President of the Club's Gents Section, Alhaji Olamilekan speaking with Mushibes News appreciated all the people who turned up for his inauguration as the president and assured the Club's leaders of greater things to come as they take the club to another level. 

"Am happy to be the next president of the Fadaka Social Elite Club ( Gents Section) and I promise that it will be very exciting with new social programs that will add value to the Club and attract more capable and influential youths in Mushin to take the club to the next level". He added. 

Some of the dignitaries in attendance were Hon. Yinka Kaseem, the Lagos State House of Assemblymember representing Mushin Constituency 2, Patron Alh. (Chief) Ayoodele Suraju. and so on. 

The new executives of the Gents Section were inaugurated with the decoration of medals and presentation of certificates which was carried out by the Club's leaders and appreciation awards were presented to some of the Seniors like Elder Sunday Ogunmokun and Elder Otunba Rafiu Babatunde Lawal for their support to the Gents section. 

The Gents Sections executive comprise of the following members Alhaji Lekan Akinremi as President, Lion Femi Onifade as Vice President, Hon. Biola Matti as General Secretary, Yinka Fabunmi as Governor General, Kehinde Adio as Treasurer, Muiz Akiode as Social secretary and Moruf Shittu as Chief Whip.
