The PHC was originally an outpost medical centre donated by the Rotary Club and supported by the Council, which the Chairman promised to elevate it to a standard PHC as requested by the community and yesterday, Wednesday, 23 July 2025, the Chairman officially visited the standard PHC with modern equipment to carry out various medical treatment from child delivery to laboratory test, and so on.
At the Visit, the Chairman was taken round the centre by the MOH of the Council, showing various departments and wards including the delivery wards and laboratory.

"The population of people in the Idi-Araba community is growing daily, and the former cubicle can not deliver effective medical services. We have to upgrade it to a standard PHC, and this is the first in this community. We are proud to fulfil that promise to the people of Idi-Arabas, which will reduce death rate and sickness within the community, considering the environmental nuisance caused by people". The Vice Chairman, who doubles as the incoming Chairman of the Council, Hon. Tunbosun Haruna Aruwe, also assured the people of Idi-Araba that the centre will be maintained and continue to be at its best as the incoming administration will continue to support the centre and launch several projects and programs for the people of Idi-Araba.
