The constant attack by burglars and hoodlums on Ayantuga Primary Healthcare Centre along Ayantuga Street, Odiolowo Ojuwoye is becoming a free for all, that the hoodlums take advantage of the lower fence by invading the facility any time from midnight to steal and rob people in the facility.

The PHC is one of the medical facilities that operate 24-hour service which serves the community.

This constant robbery and attack will now be a thing of the past, as the Executive Chairman of Odiolowo Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon. Rasaq Ajala raised the wall higher to prevent further attacks.

The entrance wall facing Ayantuga Street was formerly lower so that it could easily be jumped over by anyone to enter the compound and now, the wall has been raised higher so that it can not be easily jumped over,  making it secure.

According to one of the community stakeholders managing the PHC, Reverend Mother Mrs. Abdul Oluwafunmilayo, who supervised the raising of the wall construction today, Saturday, 6 April 2024, said she wants to thank the Chairman for his prompt response to the Save Our  Soul call from the facility manager today.

She said the constant attacks affected nurses and doctors staying overnight at the facility because the burglars and hoodlums were armed most times.

She made it known that the facility has been robbed about three times now, "The last one happened yesterday midnight, when the boys sneaked into the compound and broke into one of the doctors'' cars on duty, removed valuable items from the car, as people noticed them and shouted thieves, they quickly jumped the wall and ran away, " She said.

Thanking the Chairman for the quick response, she said, "Thank you, our Chairman, Hon. Rasaq Olushola Ajala, for our PHC, Ayantunga, saving us from those able boys who failed to work than to steal, God bless you and your household."
