The All Progressives Congress Chairmanship candidate of Odi-olowo Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon. Seyi Jakande, who doubles as the Vice-Chairman of the LCDA, unveiled his manifestos to the APC party members recently to kick-start preparation for the post-primary election campaign toward the Local Council elections scheduled to be held on Saturday, 12 July 2025, in Lagos State.
Speaking with Mushines, he thanked the party leaders, both in Mushin and Odi-olowo Ojuwoye, for supporting his candidacy and saluted co-aspirants in the race for the party's ticket.
"I want to thank the party leaders both in Mushin and Odi-olowo Ojuwoye for the kind support, trust and belief in my candidacy, also the delegates who are convinced of my programs and antecedent for being the Vice-Chairman in the past 8 years, and believe that the government of Hon. Rasaq Ajala' should continue with me with the expectations of making things better.
"Just like every other election where the position can occupy only one person, I commend fellow aspirants for their doggedness, and will to offer themselves for the service of the people of Odi-olowo Ojuwoye, as fellow party members belonging to the same family, I extend my hand of fellowship to them to come together, proceed on the journey ahead to win the general election and after the election, share their wealth of experience in the journey of governance., " He said.
Explaining why the people of Odi-olowo Ojuwoye LCDA should vote for him, he said being voted twice as the Vice-Chairman and believed that the people would extend that support for him in the general election come July 12. When voted for, he promised to sustain people's centric programs of the present administration and bring new innovations to the community which will be anchored on four letters agenda, H.E.W.A.
"My promise to the people of Odi-olowo Ojuwoye LCDA is anchored on four letters H. E. W. A pronounced as HEWA, in Yoruba as IWA meaning character, so I have come with HEWA, with my character, putting my integrity on the table to begin another journey that my character and integrity will speak for me.
"The H in HEWA mean health and environment, E stands for education and empowerment, W stand for works and security while A stands for agriculture, sports, tourism and women empowerment, anchor on these four agendas we will have sustainable programs and bring new innovations that will move Odi-olowo Ojuwoye LCDA forward, have a better infrastructural development with impactful educational programs that will put the LCDA up among developed communities in the world." He concluded.
