On Friday 27th of September, 2019 morning, the life of Mr. Moruf aka KAKA was cut short by the operatives of the Lagos State Taskforce at the Cele Bus Stop inward Itire Ijesha.

According to an eye witness, the Taskforce came to Cele Bus Stop inward Itire Ijesha by Mushin LG Area office, as usual, to arrest vehicles and drivers stopping around that axis where commercial vehicles use to pick passengers and the drama started between Mr. Moruf (the deceased) with some of the boys that work with the Taskforce.

"He (the deceased) was struggling with the taskforce boys which he was mercilessly beaten and manhandled by the boys, then one of the uniform men hit Mr. Moruf head with a long gun, collapsed on the ground and taken away along with people arrested" Eye witness narrated.

It was also gathered that the taskforce destroyed several vehicles that were parked at the junction.

Residents confirmed that he's dead and his body was deposited at Ikorodu taskforce office and up till now, the Taskforce has not released his body nor make any statement to that effect.

Also gathered that some members of the community went to the Taskforce office yesterday Saturday but not attended to, even they were chased away.

The residents are demanding for justice and will be staging a protest very soon to make their complaints known and bring the perpetrators to book.
