The peace ambassador, a true Mushine, born and bred in the hood who is based in the UK, came home to bury his late mother and seized the opportunity to visit places and stakeholders within the Mushin Community as the free-for-all fight among the youth in the community become unbearable.
Receiving the award, the Champion thanked the admin of the platform and every other person who appreciated his genuine effort in bringing peace to the community, as he's not interested in anything other than the peaceful cohabitation that brings development to the people and community at large.
Speaking with Mushines News, he said, "Mushin is my home, and I can't fold my hards seeing people living in fear of these so-called Igbere or Kesari boys terrorising the community.
"I was born and raised in the Mushin community but now living in London, and my people back home in Mushin kept calling me, narrating how the Igbere boys, Kesari boys and co are terrorising the community.
"It is our duty whether government or residents to rise and challenge these boys by talking to them because I was once in their shoes when growing up in Mushin, so we have to enlighten them that life does not end there, they have a lot to do with their life not thuggery, hooliganism and so on. " He said.
He disclosed that he's setting up a foundation to care for the less privileged in the community as many of these boys are from the less privileged homes and taking the boys off the street by engaging them in sports activities and others, in which boxing gloves and other sports equipment have been donated to the government.
He urged every young soul to go and register in any of the sporting activities rather than engaging themselves in thuggery, hooliganism and gangsterism.
