The All Progressives Congress (APC) family in Mushin Local Government has hosted party leaders and critical stakeholders from across the Lagos West Senatorial District in a strategic meeting focused on reconciliation, unity and massive voter mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The meeting brought together members of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), Local Government and Local Council Development Area chairmen, party leaders and other key stakeholders from the various LGAs and LCDAs within Lagos West.

At the gathering, participants deliberated on strategies to strengthen the party’s internal cohesion, resolve grievances among members and build a united structure capable of delivering what party leaders described as “loud votes” for APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.

A major focus of the meeting was the reconciliation of aggrieved members following the party’s primary elections.

Members were urged to put the outcome of the primaries behind them and close ranks in the interest of the party, with leaders stressing that the emergence of candidates through the primary process should now give way to collective mobilisation for the general election.

The stakeholders also discussed various strategies and modalities for taking the party’s campaign and grassroots mobilisation to every ward, community and polling unit across the senatorial district.

The message from the meeting was clear: the objective is not merely to win elections, but to secure a strong electoral mandate through increased voter mobilisation and coordinated efforts by party members.

Participants were therefore encouraged to rally around the party’s flagbearers, work together and intensify grassroots engagement ahead of the polls.

The Mushin meeting comes amid broader efforts by the Lagos APC to strengthen unity and mobilisation as the 2027 election cycle gathers momentum. The party recently inaugurated its Lagos State campaign council, with its leadership also calling for unity and coordinated mobilisation.

For the APC family in Lagos West, the strategic meeting provided another platform to reinforce the message of reconciliation, bury internal differences and activate the party’s structures towards the forthcoming general elections.

The stakeholders are expected to take the message of unity and mobilisation back to their respective local governments, LCDAs and wards as the party steps up preparations for the elections.
