On Monday, 3 October 2022, the organisers of the annual Awa n Dupe Day and residents of Ward A1, Odiolowo Ojuwoye LCDA, Mushin Constituency I led by Comrade Joel Toba Ajiboye donated campaign materials to all All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in Mushin Constituency 1 and 2 as 2023 election campaign started.

At the event, dignitaries far and near, Hon. Adeyemi Taofeek Alli, member seeking reelection for Federal House of Representatives, Mushin Constituency 1, Hon. Rasaq Olushola Ajala, Chairman, Odiolowo Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon. Toyin Fayinka,  candidate for Federal House of Representatives, Mushin Constituency 2, Hon. Nureni Ayinde Akinsanya, member and candidate for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mushin Constituency 1 with a special guest, the Chairman of Lagos State Parks and Management Committee, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly called MC Oluomo, were present to wine and dine as Nigeria celebrate the 62nd anniversary and dance to the music of Sule Malaika on a stage staged at Ereko Street, Fadeyi, Odiolowo community.

Presenting the campaign materials, Mc Oluomo presented on behalf of Toba Ajiboye Foundation to Hon Adeyemi Taofeeq Alli who received the materials on behalf of the APC candidates.

Comrade Toba Ajiboye commended  Hon Adeyemi Alli for all the projects he has executed within the Mushin  Federal Constituency 1.

"It is high time we recognized our leader who has worked tremendously and who has been active in delivering the dividends of democracy to our community, he's indeed a good public servant," Comrade Toba said.

Also speaking during the presentation, Comrade Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya, noted that Hon Yemi Alli is a man of the people who is always conscious of the yearnings of his people.

"Hon. Yemi Alli is a brother and father to me. I've always watched and heard about him despite that I am not a resident in his constituency."

He added, "We are aware of his quality services to the people and numerous projects he has executed which are seen by everyone.

"I believe he is worth the recognition being given to him by the foundation as an epitome of good leadership," MC Oluomo said.

Reacting to the gestures from Toba Ajiboye Foundation, Hon. Yemi Alli expressed appreciation to the donor,  Comrade Toba Ajiboye.

"I must sincerely confess to feeling excited about these campaign souvenirs given to me by residents of Ward A1 through Comrade Toba, this is an indication that we are recognized and our good work is appreciated," 

"I'm so overwhelmed, and it gladdens my heart for this good gesture. I believe it's a challenge for me to do more, may God help me.

"I will love to implore all our constituents to support all APC candidates starting from our National Leader and Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to the Governor, Senators, House of Representatives and State Assembly candidates." Hon Alli said.

The height of the event was the presentation of a giant picture art frame to each of the four honourable present.
