The Nigeria Police have identified the police in a viral video at the International Spare Parts market as Inspector Istifanus Kwanchi, serving with the Mobile Police (MOPOL), shooting to the air for necessary disciplinary measures

This is made known by the Lagos State Police Command Spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin on his x handle formerly known as Twitter, and quoted as follows.

"The police officer in this video, Inspector Istifanus Kwanchi, serving with the Mobile Police (MOPOL), has been brought in for appropriate disciplinary actions. 

"@LagosPoliceNG condemns in its entirety all forms of unprofessional and unethical behaviour on the part of its officers and men; and will definitely bring to book anyone found culpable," he wrote.
