The Executive Chairman of Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon. Seyi Jakande, on Thursday, August 28, 2025, charged stakeholders to mobilize residents for the ongoing nationwide Continuous Voter Registration (CVR), stressing that voter cards remain the key to securing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

Speaking at a sensitization program organized by the council, Jakande urged participants to return to their communities and ensure that eligible residents, especially new voters and those needing transfers or corrections, complete their registration.

“Our PVC is our only power to guarantee Asiwaju’s second-term victory. I urge everyone here to spread this message to your people,” he said.

INEC Electoral Officer for Mushin, Mr. Oje Abiodun, explained that the CVR has been simplified, allowing applicants to register or update details online via www.cvr.inecnigeria.org or visit designated centres within the LCDA.

Also present, APC Chairman of Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon. Babatunde Kazeem, assured that the party is partnering with INEC to expand access by providing additional registration points across the area.
