The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced the uploading of polling unit results to its Result Viewing Portal (IReV) following the conclusion of voting across Osun State.
Voting officially closed at 2:30 p.m., after which officials began the process of sorting, counting and transmitting results from polling units.
As of the time of filing this report, 3557 of the 3,763 expected polling unit results had been uploaded to the IReV portal.
The ongoing uploads mark a major stage in the electronic transmission and public monitoring of the election results, even as INEC officials proceed with the collation process.
Through the IReV platform, voters, political parties, candidates and other stakeholders can view results uploaded from individual polling units.
The development is expected to enhance transparency and allow the public to independently monitor the results as the collation of the Osun 2026 election continues.
