After a week of uncertainty, fans of the iconic OC Classical Carnival can finally mark their calendars again as the highly anticipated OC Classical Adabo Phase 2 featuring Fuji legend King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KWAM1) has been rescheduled for Sunday, August 23, 2026.

The event, originally billed for July 26, was postponed in honour of the late Lagos NURTW Organising Secretary, Comrade Toba Ajiboye (Toba Ijaya), throwing thousands of eager attendees into suspense.

Fresh details reveal that the organisers of the carnival, accompanied by respected leaders from the Odi-Olowo community, visited KWAM1 at his residence earlier on Monday to secure a new date for the long-awaited show.

Following extensive discussions, both parties reached an agreement to stage the event on August 23, officially ending speculation over when the celebration would return.

The rescheduled concert will serve as the grand finale of the OC Classical Carnival's 30th Anniversary celebrations, making this year's edition one of the most historic in the carnival's three-decade journey.

With the new date now confirmed, excitement is already building across Mushin and beyond as lovers of Fuji music and carnival enthusiasts prepare for what is expected to be a spectacular finale, with KWAM1 set to headline a celebration worthy of the landmark anniversary.
